Equanimity: The Indie Pop Rock Album That Will Take You Higher by Elliot Spencer

Elliot Spencer - Equanimity

Listening to Elliot Spencer’s latest album, Equanimity, is the soundtrack to a fulfilling life in music. From pop-rock to Jazz, hip-hop and blues. You name it!

Elliot Spencer makes indie pop rock music that’s easy on the ears. He’s been solely releasing music through streaming services since 2001 but is already making waves.

His latest album, Equanimity has 13 tracks that are well worth listening to. We are sure you will find something you love as it is a blend of different music genres, suitable for an assorted audience.

There is no doubt that plenty of music reviews are out there, but they don’t focus on indie pop rock. It can be challenging to discover music in this genre through traditional channels.

In the middle of over 300 pop-rock songs received by producers from PopHIts.Co this month, we discovered Elliot Spencer’s music and are bringing you this article about his wonderful work to learn more about him.

To say the least, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of quality there was on Spencer’s debut album, intelligently entitled Equanimity – which means calmness and composure, especially in a difficult situation

The album is a proper buffet of melodic pop/rock and multi-genre tracks neatly arranged to fit with each other like a lego set and is strong from top to bottom. The result is a relaxing journey through his music.

We want to help listeners find fresh new artists by introducing them to this true hidden gem, Elliot Spencer. You can listen to our full playlist which contains the artist’s music, and know more about the artist’s work by scrolling down the page.

From Macclesfield in the North of England, Spener created a compelling journey of introspection and social narrative that engages listeners from the very beginning to the very end.

It is clear that the roots of this journey are indie rock. However, the sounds of jazz, hip-hop and neo-soul converge on this path of exploration as well.

It is impressive how well he is able to blur the boundaries between singing and rapping. Also, he can seamlessly switch between the two disciplines as and when the music requires. Now based in Barcelona, Spencer is preparing more for his international audience that doesn’t stop growing, already reaching the US and Germany through Spotify.

As mentioned by producers, “This 13-track album Equanimity by Elliot Spencer is an indie pop rock masterpiece that will take you higher”, and we will confirm it, that’s why we recommend you to try it out.

The album kicks off with the track “So-and-So” which blends a soul-rock sound with a classic Jazz vibe to create something truly unique.

You can hear this balance throughout the rest of the album, as well as the artist’s knack for creating catchy melodies that stick in your head long after you listen to them. Stonewalled is a good example of this amazing mix.

Elliot Spencer has been making music for years and acquired good experience, and his ability to blend genres like rock and pop on this album shows how much experience he has in crafting songs that people will remember as soon as they hear them.

The lyrics are beautiful and poetic, but they never get in the way of the music itself; instead, they seem to enhance it even more as you listen along.

Whether you’re listening on your own or with friends, this album creates an atmosphere that everyone can enjoy together! Now we will leave you to explore his portfolio, also visit his website, and follow him on Spotify.
