A Team Brings “Mule of Mine” to Life

Rapids joined with Tony Tiffin, author of “Arc Road,” along with David Levene from the band Laghonia to create fresh country rock. Levene added banjo, bass guitar, electric guitar parts, as well as produced and mixed the song. This team approach made “Mule of Mine” stand out.

The words and music show how the farmer changes from upset about his missing mule to relaxed at the end. Rapids shows his range as he performs vocals, baritone electric guitar, two guitar solos, simulated trumpet, besides drum arrangement. His first try at country rock adds excitement to his work.

Tiffin wrote the chorus and first verse, which helped shape the story. After Tiffin said, “See if you can do something with this,” Rapids built a full song that speaks to listeners. The track shows how different types of artists make good music together.

David Levene, who runs Big Sound Productions ATL in Atlanta, adds depth with his rock background to make a sound that draws people in. His skills help make “Mule of Mine” rich in detail. As PopHits.Co music experts, we see how this work shows the power of independent music.

The song takes ideas from Johnny Cash and The Eagles, but stays fresh. The sense of adventure matches the best country rock songs and appeals to all music fans.
